Role Description: The role of a Logistics Support Representative is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations. They are responsible for receiving and processing customer orders, ensuring their accuracy and timely fulfilment. To accomplish this, the representative must coordinate with various departments to handle order modifications or special requests. Additionally, the Logistics Support Representative is accountable for entering all data, organizing, verifying, and classifying it. They must search for the best option, considering the load's dimensions and ensuring that it is priced correctly to guarantee the best quality service. Educational Background: International Business (experienced and inexperienced students), International Trade, Business Administration with experience or interest in international logistics, Industrial Engineer with experience or interest in international logistics. Job Summary: The International Operations Coordinator will perform all functions related to the shipment of international orders, including preparing documentation for shipments and ensuring they are correctly processed. They will also perform warehouse tasks and maintain updates for all bookings and communications with our offices. Skills Required: - More than one year of experience as a Logistics Coordinator. - Problem-solving skills. - Multitasking ability. - Flexibility. Responsibilities: The functions include, but are not limited to: - Monitoring Outlook email for Pre-Alert messages. - Uploading shipment information and documents onto the system. - Requesting missing documents from clients or involved parties. - Verifying internal orders in the system. - Following up on old shipments, prioritizing oldest to newest. - Conducting Track & Trace for shipments to verify ETA and delivery details. - Validating account status or setting up new accounts, including POA documentation. - Using import systems to transfer data and facilitate payments. - Reviewing transportation files for compliance, such as ISF filings. - Seeking authorization for maritime service fees from the branch supervisor. - Closing service legs for completed processes, ensuring all services are accounted for.
