A well-established and expanding logistics provider is looking for an **Ocean Import Sales Specialist**with background in **ocean freight and U.S.Colombia trade**. This is a great opportunity for sales professionals in the freight forwarding industry who are ready to grow and take on new challenges. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop new business opportunities for ocean imports from the U.S. to Colombia - Build and manage long-term client relationships - Negotiate competitive rates with ocean carriers and NVOCCs - Coordinate with internal operations and documentation teams to ensure seamless freight movement - Monitor shipments and provide proactive updates to clients - Stay up to date on Incoterms, international trade regulations, and Colombian customs procedures - Prepare and present tailored proposals to prospective clients - Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets - 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or brokerage (focused on ocean imports) - Proven success in sales or business development roles - Familiar with U.S.Latin America trade lanes - Experience working with Colombian importers and understanding of customs clearance processes - Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish (required) - Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated, independent, and goal-oriented **Conditions**: - ** Location**: On-site position in **Barranquilla, Colombia** - ** Schedule**: Monday to Friday, **8:00 AM - 5:00 PM** (in-office) - ** Contract type**: Permanent full-time position.
