Job Description As a Medical Billing Manager , you'll lead the charge in optimizing healthcare billing operations with a sharp focus on ABA services. From analyzing data and streamlining processes to managing provider relationships and ensuring clean, timely claim submissions—you’ll bring strategic oversight and industry expertise to every stage of the billing cycle. Job Overview Employment type: Indefinite Term Contract Shift: 8AM to 5PM CST Work setup: Work From Home Your Daily Tasks Leading and managing the full billing cycle for ABA services, including claim submission, denial management, and payment tracking Collaborating with providers to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate documentation Analyzing billing data to identify trends, root causes of denials, and opportunities for improvement Designing and implementing process enhancements to boost billing efficiency and minimize errors Managing a remote/offshore billing team, ensuring compliance with U.S. healthcare standards Building strong relationships with insurance companies and provider networks Partnering with cross-functional teams in a startup environment to support business growth Leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and optimize billing operations Requirements The Qualifications We Seek Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in U.S. healthcare billing , with a focus on i nsurance claims Proven expertise in ABA billing (mandatory) Strong knowledge of denial management and insurance follow-up processes Experience managing provider relationships and collaborating with clinical teams Demonstrated ability to design and implement process improvements Proficiency in data analysis; experience with SQL is a strong advantage Excellent communication skills in English Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like environment Availability to work in U.S. Central Time (CST) Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience leading or mentoring a billing team Familiarity with healthcare billing systems (e.g., Kareo, WebPT, AdvancedMD) Understanding of HIPAA regulations and payer-specific requirements Benefits Exciting Perks Await! 5 days work week Weekends off Work from home arrangement 20 vacation days in total Prepaid medicine Fully-customized Emapta laptop and peripherals Indefinite term type contract Direct exposure to our clients Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment Prime Office Locations - Bogotá and Medellin Unlimited upskilling through Emapta Academy courses (Want to know more?
