What will I be doing? As a General Manager, you are responsible for managing the Hotel Executive team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also manage profitability and guest satisfaction measures. Specifically, your responsibilities include: Managing ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded Leading all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment Making decisions in the best interest of the hotels and Hilton Delivering achievable hotel budgets and setting strategic goals Providing effective leadership to hotel team members Leading business planning efforts Ensuring compliance with and exceeding Hilton Brand Service Standards Controlling costs and sourcing revenue opportunities Managing and developing the Hotel Executive team for career progression and succession planning Holding regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team Responding to audits to ensure continuous improvement What are we looking for? A Hilton General Manager works on behalf of our Guests and collaborates with Team Members. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the following qualities: Experience as a General Manager or Director of Operations in a similar quality hotel Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent Strong commercial acumen with experience in increasing profitability Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting in a similar-sized property Excellent leadership skills Exceptional communication skills In-depth knowledge of the hotel, leisure, and service sectors It is advantageous to demonstrate the following capabilities: General Management experience in a similar quality hotel What will it be like to work for Hilton?
