Lead Strategy & Market Analyst - Req ID: 13893 Overview The Facilities Planning Department is responsible for developing and coordinating the company's capital program. The Fuels & Chemicals Division includes the Downstream Development Group, Refining Group, and Chemicals Group. Its activities encompass the entire Capital Planning Process, from idea creation and business case analysis to project scoping, and expenditure documentation for corporate approval. The division also leads master planning for downstream facilities and evaluates capital deployment for optimal benefits, including technical due diligence on potential acquisitions. Responsibilities Conduct feasibility studies on refineries and petrochemical facilities and develop long-term business strategies. Lead project teams in preparing design basis scoping papers for capital projects involving refineries and petrochemicals. Prepare expenditure requests and present them to Corporate Management. Coordinate with Operating Organizations, New Business Development, Engineering, Project Management, and Corporate Staff. Evaluate processes, systems, and economics of existing and potential facilities. Oversee evaluations of major facilities conducted by others. Present investment opportunities to Corporate Management. Provide ongoing consultation to Saudi Aramco management and other entities. Mentor future Facilities Planning Specialists. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Advanced education in Economics is highly preferred. At least 12 years of experience in economic evaluations, feasibility studies, and budget requests. Experience as a professional consultant in engineering studies. Proficiency in process/system simulation and refinery or petrochemical economics, especially LP modeling. Excellent technical writing and presentation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
