Multinational company leader in OTC medical technology Apply before: 2025-06-24 (41 Days left) Reference number: IT-02435 OTC Medical Devices - Managing national distribution partners The Sales Director / Head of Sales South Europe , directly reporting to the EMEA Head of Sales, will execute the EMEA strategy at a regional level, ensuring it translates into measurable commercial success. He/she will lead all commercial initiatives, drive operational excellence, and deliver strong financial results. The Sales Director will also be a key connector between local markets and the EMEA headquarters, driving growth through leadership and collaboration. Leading a team of two people , he/she will be responsible for the relationships with the national business distribution partners in the designated country markets (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece), in order to reach agreed turnover and profit objectives and achieve the desired market position. Main tasks and responsibilities : Plan the annual budget, manage both revenue and expense, and oversee and deliver desired financial results to ensure profitability and growth. Responsible for relationships with major customers, professional bodies and represent the company in external presentations, congresses and exhibitions to increase brand awareness, educate the market and gather market and competitor information. Manage and develop sales and trade marketing distributors’ teams, and oversee all sales and trade marketing activities in the designated areas, while being responsible for regional P&L. Plan, negotiate, oversee, consolidate, control and safeguard accuracy of the annual (sales) budget of the region to achieve sales turnover and gross-profit targets. Oversee negotiation, update and maintenance of the legal framework governing the business relationship with clients. Proactively develop and capture innovative business opportunities and collaborations, supporting the portfolio's sustainable and continuous growth and expansion. Manage business partners’ forecast and the phase in-out of old and new products in close co-operation with the marketing department and supply chain management department. Requirements : A master's or bachelor's degree in the field of Business Administration, Economics, or similar area of expertise. Experience in a consumer product environment is a must (OTC, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food supplement, infant nutrition, or wellness products). At least 3 years of people management experience, and in leading a team of sales professionals. Analytical skills, excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically while executing initiatives hands-on. Distributor Management or Key Account Management. Willingness to travel extensively. Prolifient in the English and Italian language, both written and verbal.
