We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Infrastructure Architect to join our team. This position is critical for evaluating, designing, and implementing infrastructure solutions within M&A settings, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and alignment with organizational objectives. The right candidate will combine technical leadership with strategic insight and effective stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities Develop transition plans and estimates for moving from current to future state infrastructure integration blueprints and roadmaps Create technical design artifacts to enable the deployment of secure, scalable, and adaptable infrastructure aligned with enterprise objectives Collaborate with stakeholders in target organizations and internal teams to shape integration roadmaps in line with the broader M&A strategy Analyze capacity impacts on Operations and Engineering teams and prepare detailed insights for planning purposes Outline and advocate for infrastructure standards, design patterns, and integration strategies through appropriate approval processes Perform evaluations of infrastructure architecture against critical system qualities like reliability, scalability, and availability, recommending optimization strategies Maintain awareness of emerging technologies to distinguish impactful advancements from fleeting trends Conduct workshops and group sessions with internal and external stakeholders to align on technical integration strategies Contribute to business case development through high-level architectural estimates Act as a valued technical advisor and liaison for stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and effective collaboration Provide insights and feedback on technical designs from platform engineers, contributing to service quality improvements Requirements 5+ years of experience in leading technology integration and architecture design within M&A environments Proficiency in cloud computing, especially IaaS and PaaS, with knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Comprehensive expertise in infrastructure layers, including transport protocols, compute, virtualization, storage solutions (DAS/NAS/SAN), monitoring, and security Background in multi-tiered architecture with a focus on system efficiency, resiliency, and scalability Skills in architecture modeling and the ability to deliver impactful presentations catered to different audience types Familiarity with structured design methodologies and the ability to assess and enforce standards aligned with enterprise objectives Strong communication and leadership abilities demonstrated through collaboration at all organizational levels Capability to lead architecture implementation and drive organizational consensus on technical directions Nice to have Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure integration Background in facilitating workshops, both virtual and in-person, to establish shared understanding and strategic alignment Familiarity with industry certifications like CAIM, CCIE, or frameworks related to Enterprise Architecture We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology, Engineering, and Business Development Industries Software Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Events Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at EPAM Systems by 2x Get notified about new Infrastructure Architect jobs in Colombia .
