Job Purpose: We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Upstream Development Strategy and Reserves Department in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing one of the world's largest portfolios of on-shore and off-shore oil and gas fields. Key responsibilities include leading techno-economic oil & gas field developments, conducting commerciality assessments, and performing economic evaluations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in long-term reservoir development, depletion planning, investment decision analysis, and portfolio analysis. - Provides expert advice on techno-economic feasibility studies and ensures alignment with Upstream Oil & Gas strategy - Specifies design criteria for new oil & gas projects - Participates in project technical reviews and reviews proposals for new or changed operating procedures - Conducts economic screening calculations and life cycle economic review to select optimal options and value creation - Provides guidance on upstream investment opportunities - Performs impairment assessment on upstream assets - Conducts field portfolio management and projects ranking - Leads the process of building and updating guidelines for upstream economics evaluation - Evaluates and helps develop new work processes and best technical practices - Identifies technical challenges and develops solutions
