About We are looking for a Senior SRE / Release Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of software systems by applying software engineering principles to IT operations. This involves tasks like monitoring, incident response, automation, and capacity planning to keep systems running smoothly and efficiently. Our client provides leading technology and services to the golf industry across the United States and Great Britain including software that manages tee sheets, points of sale and reservation services with a focus on providing great experience for golf players and smooth operation of golf courses. You will be working as a part of a dedicated Agile team with a high level of responsibility for technical decisions and daily collaboration with the client team abroad. Responsibilities: Define, implement, and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical systems and services Build and maintain observability dashboards, alerts, and metrics using DataDog Monitor and optimize performance of SQL Server and NoSQL data stores Participate in and continuously improve incident response and on-call rotations Lead and contribute to post-incident reviews and root cause analysis Work closely as team liaison with our DevOps team, support and enhance CI/CDI pipelines and infrastructure automation Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused software engineering Deep practical knowledge of SRE concepts: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, alert tuning, and incident response Strong experience with SQL Server administration, tuning, and troubleshooting Some knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) Hands-on experience with DataDog for observability (logs, metrics, tracing) Some background in C# / .NET Core Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or similar Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS) Qualifications Self-driven team member of a high-performing development team who cares about the team culture and takes pride in the outcome of the teamwork Bright and engaging with "start-up" energy and passion Flexible and able to align with priorities coming from the business Enjoys an Agile development environment, Scrum methodology experience is a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Intermediate English or higher We offer Work your way — anywhere, anytime.
