Electrical Project Engineer Job Summary This challenging role involves joining our team to provide technical due diligence support for utility-scale and distributed solar photovoltaic (PV), wind, and battery storage projects. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, reviewing electrical design documents, conducting on-site construction monitoring, and preparing detailed reports of electrical engineering design reviews. About the Role You will contribute to the independent review and assessment of electrical/power system engineering designs and technologies used in solar PV, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. This will involve: - Managing multiple projects with diverse requirements and deadlines. - Reviewing electrical design documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Conducting on-site construction monitoring to assess adherence to design drawings and specifications. - Preparing detailed reports of electrical engineering design reviews, project documentation assessments, and construction monitoring services. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. - At least 5 years of experience in electrical project engineering, ideally with 2–3 years focused on electrical design. - Experience in the design and/or analysis of AC and DC power systems with wind, PV or battery storage preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex engineering, construction, and operational issues to lay people. - Fluency in English. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. - Self-starter with ability to schedule and prioritize tasks and commitments. - Customer-centric mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Fluency in Microsoft Office products.
