Learn more at Job Details - Function: Legal & Compliance - Sub Function: Enterprise Compliance - Category: Professional - Location: Bogotá Distrito Capital, Colombia Job Description Position Overview The Risk & Compliance Specialist will perform sanction screening, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, and corruption due diligence processes as part of the third-party risk management program. This role supports and maintains procedures and controls to mitigate compliance risk, including risk management, communications, audits, training, process improvement, and compliance support. Key Responsibilities 1. Conduct screening to mitigate risks related to financial crimes, corruption, bribery, and money laundering (AML+ABC). 2. Identify potential risks, document findings accurately, and escalate cases as necessary. 3. Perform data quality validations and database reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. 4. Support Risk & Compliance in documenting, discussing, and escalating issues according to global procedures and policies. 5. Perform data cleansing for assigned LATAM/NA countries. 6. Coordinate with master data teams to obtain additional information when needed. 7. Assist in creating metrics for AML suppliers, risks, and mitigation strategies. 8. Update databases with metrics/KPIs for tracking purposes. 9. Collaborate on updating regional policies, procedures, and work instructions to reflect current processes for AML and high-risk countries. 10. Assist in reviewing potential companies during acquisitions for risk assessment. 11. Maintain records according to current regulations and enterprise retention schedules. 12. Provide insights and improvements for the screening process based on experience and stakeholder feedback. 13. Perform sanction screening and risk assessments for new and existing suppliers. 14. Support daily vendor creation and modification processes for high-risk countries. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, Law, LAFT/OFAC, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of related experience. - Proficiency in English and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle large volumes of complex information with attention to detail. - Desire to improve processes and collaborate across regions. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in a related field. - Experience in pharmaceutical, audit/consulting, financial, or global services industries. - Strong skills in MS Office tools, compliance due diligence, and accounts payable/receivable processes.
