Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR Specialist) The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing the company’s wholesale client portfolio, ensuring steady cash flow by securing timely payments and proactively resolving disputes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, allowing them to build solid relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Their focus will be on process optimization and ensuring the reduction of outstanding debts. Responsibilities: Manage the wholesale accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely payment compliance. Follow up and manage overdue accounts, implementing strategies for effective payment recovery. Maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and analyze periodic reports on account statuses, providing key insights for decision-making. Collaborate closely with the sales department to resolve disputes and optimize the collection process. Actively participate in follow-up meetings, presenting account status and proposing procedural improvements. Accurately record and update information related to payments and the current status of each account. Support internal and external audits by providing the required documentation and analysis. Monitor payment trends and develop strategies to minimize outstanding debt. Maintain high confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial information. Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: Fluent in spoken and written English - Bilingual. Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing accounts receivable, particularly in commercial or wholesale environments. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting management systems, preferably QuickBooks. Ability to manage multiple accounts and work under pressure with strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both in English and Spanish, for interacting with clients and internal teams. Strong attention to detail with analytical skills to detect and resolve inconsistencies in financial data. Proactive and able to work independently in problem-solving and process improvement.
