We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented operations specialist to join our dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality video and streaming services for the sports industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of tactical video setups and maintaining exceptional service standards for our clients. Working with the Auto-Produced Video department, this individual will also maintain current legacy video products that serve our data platforms and APIs. Adaptability to absorb additional requirements in the future is a must. Specifically, this role will: Review Video Setups Conduct comprehensive reviews of tactical & other video setups, ensuring proper pitch coverage, lens configurations, zoom settings, video & audio quality. Document any previous connectivity issues and assess their impact on operational effectiveness. Confirm the capability to produce tactical video from both main and reverse setups at the installation site. Perform camera calibrations according to defined protocols pre and/or live-game, or whenever camera positions have been adjusted. Maintain and Output Quality Control (QC): Conduct quality control checks on video stitching and calibration to maintain the integrity and quality of video output. Monitor live streams and review available metrics to ensure optimal performance and viewer experience. Follow Troubleshooting & Corrective Tools: Utilize available troubleshooting runbooks and corrective tools to address and resolve issues in a timely manner. Provide support for complex scenarios, liaising with third parties/other internal teams and escalate issues to engineering as needed. Responding to Customer Inquiries Collaborate with clients & third parties to resolve any operational issues they may encounter. Perform Daily maintenance: Alignment to AI data for video indexing Uploading videos sent by customers to video backend service Audit existence of video sources based on contractual deliverables Vendor communications surrounding video availability Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish and English. A strong tolerance for repetitive tasks. Knowledge and experience with definitional sports terms and markings. Prior experience with making time-critical judgment calls regarding live data processing, engineering support. Prior experience collaborating live with remote colleagues. Understanding of the current landscape and recent past of major professional sports leagues. Attention to detail; speed and accuracy are a must. Experience in video production & transportation, streaming services, or technical support for live events, particularly in the sports industry. Strong understanding of video technology, including cameras, connectivity, and streaming protocols. Basic knowledge of cloud computing and experience using tools from modern infrastructure providers, with a preference for familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting to assist with in venue video delivery. Ability to prioritize, sense of ownership and effectively address multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment. Other Desired Qualifications: Ability to present opinions in a group setting. Strong desire and aptitude to learn new skills as well as build on top of current strengths. Accountable to self-prioritize current and upcoming workloads. Must be able and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able and available to work according to the various sporting league schedules, which includes holidays during the regular season. Must possess flexibility, including early morning and late evenings.
