What success looks like in this role: Operate, monitor, and support hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud + on-prem). Respond to incidents, troubleshoot system and network issues, and ensure timely resolution. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure health and performance. Support backup, recovery, patching, and disaster recovery operations across platforms. Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement operational best practices and maintain compliance. Optimize resource usage and cost across cloud and local infrastructure. Automate routine tasks and operational processes using scripting or configuration management tools. You will be successful in this role if you have: Hands-on experience with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). Experience with monitoring & observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch). Understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and security controls.
