Software Engineer Company Description Sutherland is seeking an attentive and goal-oriented person to join us as a software engineer for the NICE Actimize program. The successful candidate will translate customer requirements into functional solutions using technical expertise and proprietary products available at NICE Actimize. Job Description The Software Engineer performs duties including: Enhancing existing solutions to match client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL / PostgreSQL, and other technologies. Evaluating requirements to determine technical feasibility and proposing solutions. Testing and troubleshooting software solutions, configurations, and customizations. Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues to provide relevant information. Utilizing software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers. Performing root cause analysis and outlining corrective actions. Creating databases, objects, views, indexes, and writing queries to inspect data. Defining XSDs for XOB models and understanding requests and responses in JSON format for API integrations. Interacting with REST APIs and diagnosing issues encountered. Applying urgency, commitment, and focus on priorities to develop timely technical solutions. Implementing Actimize software applications using C#. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Experience with MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases. Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio. Knowledge of REST APIs. Familiarity with web application servers such as Tomcat or WebSphere. Experience with API, database, file, and queue integrations. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, or containerization is a plus. At least 3 years of experience with C#, HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript. Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level) and problem-solving abilities. Proactive approach to projects and problem resolution. Proficiency with IDEs.
