Full Job Description The Head of Procurement and Carrier Relations plays a pivotal role, responsible for procurement strategies and maintaining strong carrier relationships to ensure seamless service operations. This includes strategizing, negotiating, and optimizing partnerships to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality. Core Responsibilities Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, covering equipment, services, and resources. Supplier Management: Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers to meet quality, cost, and service standards. Foster strong relationships for timely deliveries and favorable terms. Carrier Relations: Establish and maintain partnerships with telecommunication carriers, negotiating contracts for reliable connectivity and service performance. Cost Optimization: Monitor market trends, analyze costs, and implement strategies to reduce expenses. Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and service agreements. Risk Management: Identify supply chain and carrier risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure continuity. Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate supplier and carrier performance using KPIs, driving improvements. Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and the competitive landscape. Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with regulations and company policies. Budget Management: Collaborate with finance to manage procurement budgets effectively. Requirements Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and carrier relations in telecommunications and cloud industries. Strong negotiation skills with a successful track record. Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, networks, and carrier services. Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and performance data. Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
