Job Function Summary The Production Support Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining and continuously improving equipment, processes, and facilities. This involves professional supervision of production equipment and machinery, ensuring scheduled maintenance activities are executed and the maintenance program is up-to-date in the ERP system (E1). Key Responsibilities - Professional supervision of equipment and machinery in the production area. - Ensure the execution of scheduled maintenance activities. - Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for assigned production machines. - Keep the maintenance program on the ERP system (E1) up to date. - Organize technical training for other employees as needed. - Explore and solve technical problems with suppliers, staff, and operators. - Analyze and improve technical processes, production machines, and equipment. - Meet required levels of Safety, Quality, Output, and Cost. - Install, assemble, and commission production equipment and lines. - Support technicians in discovering failures and providing quick and professional troubleshooting. - Keep the maintenance program for the Value Stream up to date. - Support validation tasks related to machines and processes: Maintenance, Operations Instruction, etc. - Support corrective and preventive actions related to Non-Conformities (NC's) and CAPA. - Coordinate spare parts purchasing and define minimum/reorder point for spare parts. - Generate and follow-up on OR for spare parts, tools, and other equipment required to run machines. - Generate work orders for parts to be produced in the Tool Shop. - Create and/or review documents in the document control system (Veeva). - Act as Subject Matter Expert for the production process under responsibility. - Attend meetings as required. - Provide off-hours support to escalations from the production floor when needed. Responsibilities include performing the job in compliance with guidelines given, drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following guidelines, drawing attention to inefficiency of the system, taking responsibility for safety aspects identified for the given position, and supporting the positive EHS culture. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical, Materials). - More than 3 years of experience in engineering roles with responsibility in manufacturing processes. - Ability to support high-volume manufacturing operations. - Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems). - Minimum English Level B2. Preferred Qualifications - Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. - Desirable experience working in FDA-regulated environments. - Working knowledge of design software such as AutoDesk (AutoCad 2D, Inventor 3D, Vault database). - Experience in the medical industry.
