This is an on-site position designed to support U.S.-based freight operations. Your primary responsibility will be to secure carrier capacity for freight moving across the U.S. by building carrier relationships and negotiating rates. While this role focuses on carrier sales, you should also be familiar with track and trace processes, as you may occasionally assist in tracking shipments and providing real-time updates. Key Responsibilities: Carrier Sales (Primary Function): -Source and book qualified carriers for U.S. domestic freight -Negotiate rates to ensure competitive pricing and strong profit margins -Build and maintain long-term carrier relationships -Manage the full carrier lifecycle—from booking to delivery coordination -Monitor market trends and anticipate capacity challenges -Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth load execution -Maintain accurate records and load updates in TMS and internal systems Track & Trace (Support Function): -Assist with tracking shipments in real time when needed -Confirm pickups, deliveries, and status updates directly with carriers -Communicate potential issues proactively and escalate as necessary -Ensure accurate and timely data entry into internal platforms Requirements: -Minimum 1 year of experience in a U.S.-based freight brokerage or logistics company -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required) -Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities -Familiarity with TMS platforms and digital freight tools -High attention to detail and strong organizational skills -Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment What We Offer: Full-time labor contract with all legal benefits under Colombian law Monthly sales bonus based on performance Career growth in a dynamic, U.S.-focused logistics environment Supportive and professional team culture Ready to grow your logistics career?
