Job Overview Develop fit-for-purpose AIML models, algorithms, and processes to address pharma/healthcare applications and innovative products. This involves creating prototypes followed by building production-grade algorithms and automation engines for client deliverables. Essential Functions Support the development of generative AI solutions in the life sciences domain. Fine-tune pre-trained foundation models and assist stakeholders with analysis and implementation. Transform machine learning research domain expertise, especially in human data, into viable prototypes. Contribute to the development of model features on projects or products with guidance from others. Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers and Researchers to understand and create new algorithms. Build and train production-grade algorithms capable of learning from complex, high-dimensional data to uncover patterns for models and applications. Apply techniques to improve the performance of NLP and machine learning algorithms. Test and validate models for deployment viability with support from team members. Consult with internal and external clients, develop solutions, and facilitate technical delivery of AI projects. Qualifications Master's Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field. Good commercial awareness and interest in the healthcare industry. Strong project, time, and organizational management skills; ability to work with business owners to ask the right questions. 2-4 years of experience in creating machine learning algorithms. Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, R, Go, Kubernetes, Deep Learning, or similar.
