Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee and optimize financial operations in our e-commerce brand. This is a strategic and hands-on position, perfect for someone who thrives in remote environments and has a strong background in accounting. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate financial records: accruals, reconciliations, expense categorization - Manage day-to-day accounting: AP/AR, chargebacks, bank/credit card reconciliations - Prepare monthly financial statements: P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow reports - Collaborate with the CFO on ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in e-commerce or DTC Proven expertise in full books management, financial statements, forecasting Proficient in QuickBooks Online (advanced features and reconciliations) Comfortable with Shopify accounting: order tracking, COGS, and refunds Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modeling Familiarity with inventory management/demand planning a plus Highly organized, self-sufficient, and able to work independently in a remote setup Nice to Have: - Experience collaborating with CFOs or working in startup environments - Familiarity with sales tax filings or coordination with tax preparers - Basic understanding of GAAP
