IT Manager Job Purpose The CI&T IT Manager is a key member of our Global IT department, dedicated to helping end-users resolve technical problems promptly and accurately. We seek a highly qualified IT Manager to lead our information technology team. The candidate will develop and implement IT strategies supporting the company's business objectives, manage projects, resources, and the IT team, and communicate regularly with the Global IT Squad Leader. Strict adherence to processes and procedures defined by headquarters is essential. Responsibilities The goal is to ensure the efficient and secure operation of technology systems, providing technical support, aligning global IT strategies and policies, and adapting them to local needs to meet organizational objectives. Leadership: Lead and motivate IT professionals, develop and manage the IT budget, stay updated on technological trends, and contribute to AI strategy, focusing on process optimization, automation, and organizational culture alignment. On-site Tech Support: Establish best practices based on headquarters standards, train team members, and ensure high-quality hardware, software, and network support. Process Documentation: Own local IT process documentation, create/update user guides, technical manuals, and procedures. Communication: Effectively communicate technical information, prioritize issues, and ensure compliance with IT policies, providing excellent customer service. Issue Resolution & Critical Incident Management: Guide the team in resolving escalated issues and lead responses to critical incidents, coordinating efforts and communicating with stakeholders. Process Improvement & Compliance: Analyze incident trends, improve processes, and ensure regulatory compliance and risk management. Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the local IT budget, evaluate vendors, and oversee procurement and service delivery. Cybersecurity & User Training: Implement security protocols, conduct user training, and promote best practices in IT security and governance. Collaboration & Inventory Management: Work with business and operational teams, manage IT inventory, monitor tech advancements, and propose solutions. Additional Responsibilities: Foster innovation, develop checklists, produce reports for senior management, and align IT initiatives with business strategies. Knowledge and Experience Minimum of 5 years in IT management or related roles, with proven leadership and project management experience. Experience supporting and training end-users, with a focus on user satisfaction. Strong communication skills in English and experience managing vendor relationships. Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Linux Ubuntu, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Jira, Office 365, Adobe, Slack, Zoom, Patch management, RMM, UEM, and MDM tools. Education Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related; Master’s or certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are advantageous.
