About the Role : We are looking for a County Research Specialist to help us identify the best counties in the U.S. for land acquisition based on specific investment criteria. Your research will play a critical role in determining where we focus our direct mail marketing efforts. Responsibilities : Analyze and select U.S. counties based on detailed investment criteria that we will provide. Research key county data points such as population growth, property values, rural/urban mix, land availability, and market activity. Provide data-backed recommendations with clear justifications for each selected county. Work closely with our team to meet timelines for mailing campaigns. Understand and track performance expectations (i.e., number of seller calls generated per campaign) and adjust recommendations based on results. Qualifications : Highly detail-oriented and organized. Proficient in online research and data collection. Familiarity with tools like DataTree, PropStream, Zillow, Redfin, or similar platforms is a strong plus. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in real estate or land investing (preferred but not required). Comfortable working with basic spreadsheets and compiling reports. Required Skills : Detail-oriented and organized. Proficient in online research and data collection. Familiarity with real estate tools. Ability to work independently. Preferred Skills : Experience in real estate or land investing. Comfort with spreadsheets and report compilation.
