As the Global Finished Product Portfolio Manager, you will be at the forefront of meeting stakeholder and customer needs on high-value engineering and capital projects. Your strategic mindset and technical acumen will be key in evaluating project viability and resource availability to drive efficient project execution. **Also, you will**: - Strategically manage the global Finished Product process portfolio, aligning it with other processes, regional leads, and company objectives. - Make objective decisions and facilitate consensus based on strategic priority, technical viability, and resource availability. - Drive active stakeholder engagement to define process objectives, criteria for prioritizing initiatives, and project success criteria. - Assess and monitor the health and value of the portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. - Coordinate efficient, disciplined, and structured communication across multiple initiatives and projects with stakeholders. - Identify cross-project dependencies and foster collaboration with other process departments within Global Technology. - Develop, implement, and manage global process-specific estimating tools for capital expenditure (CapEx) and resource loading. Serve as a liaison between regional process leads and the strategy, ensuring consistent use and gathering feedback for tool development. - Actively engage in the global engineering council to drive cross-process and regional collaboration and ensure successful execution of the technology portfolio. - Identify staffing and contracting gaps and work with regional process managers to develop immediate and long-term strategies. - Establish criteria and processes for managing the process-specific capital Asset Acquisition and Projects (AAP) portfolio, as well as non-AAP project activities, including plant audits, pilots, technology investigations, supplier audits, engineering fundamentals, and procurement TSC activities. - Collaborate with the FP strategy team to introduce new technologies to the glass industry or O-I manufacturing operations, following a disciplined change management process. - Champion change management for the FP team, with a specific focus on larger automation projects (>3M$). - Facilitate regular interaction between the team, suppliers to ensure effective tracking and management of projects. **We fully embrace the flexibility and benefits of remote work.
