About the Role: As a Marketing Development Representative, you will convert marketing leads into qualified sales opportunities (e.g., scheduled calls) for the sales team through effective phone, email, SMS, and other creative tactics. You will design, execute, and own the multichannel follow-up strategy to achieve this. Responsibilities: Connect & Follow Up - Execute scheduled, personalized multichannel touches for all leads until a sales call is scheduled or the lead is disqualified/complete. Strategy Design / Improvements - Build, A/B-test, and refine strategies to increase bookings and reach rate. Multi-Channel Communication - Use phone, email, SMS, and other channels to maximize reach. Handoff to Sales - Transition scheduled calls, share context, and ensure prospect shows up. CRM Hygiene - Log every touch promptly; maintain accurate lead statuses, notes, and next steps. Reporting - Report on activity, results, progress towards targets, and improvement plans. Marketing Insights - Provide lead-quality insights, objection trends, and campaign performance data. Process Improvement - Identify blockers, propose enhancements, and test new ideas to raise bookings. Requirements: Competencies: Experience (1+ year) owning and achieving lead follow-up/conversion in an SDR/MDR role for B2B products or services. High performer in a multichannel hunter sales organization, including phone, SMS, email, etc. Experience designing and implementing follow-up strategies in CRM and email marketing tools. Role-Based: Metrics-driven with success management skills. Persistent and personable, balancing tenacity with a helpful, consultative tone. Process-improvement mindset: tests, measures, and iterates independently. Strong written communication skills for crafting concise, relevant copy.
