We are seeking skilled Spanish English Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreters (VRI) Join our team of linguistic experts who provide accurate communication between non-English and English speakers during calls. Key Responsibilities: 1. Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct 2. Take notes during calls 3. Familiarize yourself with industry-specific vocabulary 4. Render all messages accurately and completely without adding, omitting, or substituting 5. Provide exceptional customer service 6. Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients 7. Pursue internal professional training 8. Stay up-to-date with new certifications 9. Communicate effectively with your team leader Required Qualifications: 1. Fluent in English and native in Spanish 2. 1+ years of over-the-phone interpretation experience in a reputable company 3. Good knowledge of medical terminology 4. Awareness of legal terminology is an asset 5. International certifications in healthcare are an asset (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) 6. High school diploma in your native language 7. Emotional intelligence and tolerance for different cultures 8.
