Virtu Medical is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer with experience building iOS and Android applications to lead development on a new app we are building. Candidates should have a proven track record of shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play. You will collaborate with team members in Virtu Medical to build apps in an agile environment. Responsibilities - Design and develop mobile applications using any of the following: Flutter, Swift, Kotlin. - Collaborate with program managers, designers, and backend developers to define app features and functionality. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development. - Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards (e.g., code reviews and integration tests) within the team. - Participate in technical meetings and contribute towards next-generation software design. - Enhance the CI/CD pipelines, tools, and engineering processes used to build, test, deploy, and monitor the product. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications. Qualifications - Around 8 years of experience in designing, architecting, and driving the development of mobile applications from start to finish. - Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong background in object-oriented programming. - Experience with front-end languages and frameworks such as Typescript, Angular, and Node.js. - Experience in iOS/Android development and related frameworks/languages. - Experience in building layouts with CSS and HTML. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Experience with database design and development. - Experience with cloud technologies (such as Azure). - Experience using Git/Source Control. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar engineering disciplines, including software engineering.
