Senior Piping Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Specialist to join our team in Vélez, Colombia. As a key member of the Piping & Valve Group under Equipment Consulting Services Department (ECSD), you will provide operation and project support, technical consultations, and maintain standards on issues related to piping and pipelines. Duties and Responsibilities - Evaluate standard compliance and design basis of Piping and Pipelines for projects. - Support Operation-related piping assessments and evaluations. - Conduct Fitness for services analysis of piping and piping components. - Manage Standards related to SAES, SAEP, SABP, and 04-SAMSSs for Piping and Pipelines. - Determine pipe design parameters including pressure, temperature, material, and diameter. - Review piping layout span and component ratings. - Analyze free span and on-bottom piping using submarine free span criteria. - Act as a technical advisor and provide operational support to Saudi Aramco's organizations. - Evaluate and lead technology development in Piping systems. - Conduct stress analysis and special studies. - Review Pipeline Integrity programs. - Assess plant operations and witness local manufacturing activities for piping components. - Develop ideas for major technical studies or projects. Requirements - Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil and Gas. - Experienced with BOM, PMS, ISS, SIS, PID, and ISO. - Knowledgeable about Piping Technical Specification, Hydrotest diagrams, Hottapping calculations, and approvals. - Familiar with different types of piping materials, connections, and selection philosophy. - Aware of design codes related to piping and valves (ASME, ASTM, API, MSS-SP, AWWA, Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards). - Competent to read and review hydrotest diagrams and procedure. - Familiar with engineering design software such as Stress Analysis and FEA. - Experience with project phases and review cycles of piping and valves. - Familiar with materials properties and inspection types (NDEs).
