Nurses have opportunities to advance their skills with training in pediatric care and chemotherapy certification. The unit operates with two charge nurses per shift to ensure smooth patient care and staff support. Our goal is to maintain a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with a collaborative team approach involving LPNs and other healthcare professionals to guide patient care and improve cardiovascular health.
