The Employee Relations Senior Analyst is responsible for establishing and continuously maintaining effective, cooperative day to-day interactions with HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, Employees, and other Human Resources team members. This position will serve as a proactive change agent who will act as an advisor and coach employees and leaders in the area of employee relations. The Employee Relations Senior Analyst will proactively work with the HRBP in application of HR processes, policies and procedures and implementing strategies that support the goals of the organization. This role will cover Bogotá C-26 Key Accountabilities · Serve as ER subject matter expert for business and human resources partners, engaging internal and external legal resources as necessary. · Prepare and conduct disciplinary processes in all stages, ensuring compliance with the legal requirements and internal working rules (listening to call recordings and perform transcriptions when required for the case) · Collaborate and assist HR Solutions/Payroll team to answer requests of employees or former employees, related to Labor Relations. · Support life cycle of employment process assisting with the preparation of required documentation, partnering with legal if necessary. · Ensure appropriate resolution of service requests within defined time periods, levels of accuracy and quality standards and customer satisfaction levels · Work with the Legal team in the investigation of and response to charges from the Minister of Labor or other agencies, constitutional actions, and Labor litigation. · Provide facilitation and dispute/conflict resolution advice to department managers and staff. · Oversee, coordinate, and assist in resolving human resource issues, including interpretation of human resource policies, procedures and practices related to progressive discipline, performance management activities, employee assistance during crisis situations. · Investigate and resolve harassment and/or discrimination complaints and propose solutions to address wider concerns, if applicable. · Assist in the design, development and/or delivery of training initiatives for ER Team · Track and report ER process to provide proactive data metrics and insights for the business regarding employee relations and trends. · Review and update HR policies or processes, keeping compliance with the local regulation. · Facilitate organizational health assessment process, deliver feedback, and provide the appropriate support for implementing recommendations. · Design and implement employee relations support & interaction model and programs. · Work closely with all HR partners including HRBPs, HR Solutions and COEs to ensure alignment of delivery model to organizational strategies and business initiatives. · Ensure the company is in compliance with all legal requirements, and in alignment with the Asurion Way and Leadership Principles. · Act as focal point for all legal endorsements on labor or employee relation matters. · May participate in project work as needed. · All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalence Experiences, Skillsets & Personal Competencies · Demonstrated ability to conduct confidential enterprise-wide investigations on critical employee relations matters and present findings and recommendations to leaders, as appropriate. · Demonstrated ability to translate data and predictive analytics into proactive actions for the organization to prevent or pre-empt negative trends. · Analytical, project management, initiative and creative problem-solving skills. · Demonstrated flexibility and solution-orientation in problem solving with strong influencing and negotiation skills. · Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. · Ability to develop and facilitate 1 on 1, small group and class training & development initiatives and programs. · Must possess a good understanding and knowledge of laws and regulations relating to employment/labor law. · Must have strong positive employee relations and union avoidance experience/background.
