Job Description You will be responsible for managing the development of marketing strategies and programs to maximize customer demand and sales growth for Rockwell Automation's new energy and chemical segments. The position reports to the Global Industry Strategy and Marketing Director for Process Industries and collaborates with multiple internal organizations and professionals at various levels worldwide, including Regional Sales & Marketing, Industry Teams, Business Units, and the Marketing Function. Summary of Responsibilities Develop strategies with the Global Industry Team, Regional Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Strategy/Marketing Director of Process Industries to drive sales and profit in the new energy and chemical markets. This involves extensive knowledge of the industry, customer needs, market trends, customer/market segmentation, and external environmental factors. Partner with key stakeholders to leverage qualitative (e.g., customer interviews, sales feedback) and quantitative (e.g., analytics, market research) data to understand, articulate, and prioritize industry and strategic customer needs and opportunities. Establish and maintain relationships with Rockwell Automation Business Units, sales, solutions, and services teams to guide solution development and deployment. Collaborate with other industry SMMs to identify common customer needs across industries that can be leveraged for faster market solutions and thought leadership. Manage ongoing industry proof points, including campaign materials, collateral for trade conferences, and sales enablement tools such as industry demos and sales support materials, by developing a thorough understanding of Rockwell Automation’s technology, solutions, and services. Oversee budget management and reporting for activities related to these industry segments. Develop and execute plans with Portfolio Marketing to grow market share through major project launches across regions. Partner to enhance the product portfolio, considering regional customer needs, pricing, supply chain, and regulatory dynamics. Assist in developing the Rockwell Automation Industry Marketing Strategy (MSP) and Business Strategy Review (BSR), aligning with company strategies from Horizon 0 to Horizon 3 opportunities. Engage with customers directly and indirectly to build relationships and identify emerging trends, translating insights into future investment opportunities. Experience and Education Requirements Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in engineering; an MBA is beneficial. 5-10 years of marketing experience in Industry Marketing, End User/OEM Marketing, or Strategy Development roles. Extensive experience in the target industries. You will report to the Director of Industry Strategy & Marketing.
