Your effort and expertise are crucial to the success and execution of this impactful mission that is critical in ensuring mission success through Security Engineering, Vulnerability Testing, Penetration Testing, Risk Management and Assessment, Insider Threat Analysis, and IT Policies and Procedures by improving, protecting, and defending our Nation's Security. Job Responsibilities Provide support for: A program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program. Proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintaining operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Supporting security aspects of the information system and performing day-to-day security operations. Evaluating security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information. Performing vulnerability/risk assessments for security authorization. Providing configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware. Managing changes and assessing their security impact. Preparing and reviewing documentation such as SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs. Supporting security authorization activities in compliance with NIST RMF. Required Capabilities Support to senior ISSOs in implementing and enforcing security policies. Assisting with documentation and security evaluations. Configuration management for security systems. Maintaining records of security devices and upgrades. Developing and maintaining security documentation. Ensuring compliance with security policies. Supporting Cybersecurity posture and documentation updates. Managing security aspects and operations of the information system. Supporting security authorization and oversight. Interacting with stakeholders to define and achieve Cybersecurity objectives. Qualifications 10 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization, with knowledge of security tools, protocols, and encryption. Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. Certifications DoD 8570 compliance with IAM I required. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph. #J-18808-Ljbffr
