The company employs over 11,700 people across 64 global manufacturing locations and 50+ service centers. Job Description We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our quality control team. As Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of the quality management system, supervising the correct execution of procedures, technical instructions, etc., in order to meet the company's quality standards. Accountabilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing external and internal non-conformities, monitoring them (together with the departments involved), identifying and analyzing quality issues, and providing corrective actions. Representing the company in meetings and commercial steps with clients concerning quality issues, with the Head of Quality support, always providing solutions and aiming for the best deal with clients. Accepting new suppliers proposed by the purchasing department and following up on existing suppliers. Performing quality controls of processes and products to ensure compliance with established specifications (Rotors/ Packages/ Elements/ Seals and spare parts/ Structures). Managing the enamelling process regarding product quality, evaluating customer enamel specifications, and performing laboratory tests as per specifications. Making decisions regarding manufacturing stoppages if procedures are breached or product quality is at risk, and communicating these decisions to the Head of Quality. Communicating with suppliers about non-conformities and monitoring rejections to ensure product quality before use. Collaborating in continuous improvement processes, including participating in Kaizen events, preparing and monitoring PDM, and working with the commercial and engineering departments on customer specifications and manufacturing feasibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
