What You'll Do We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Analyst to join our Finance team and support Howard’s clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies, and reconciling payroll data. You will also assist with audits, generate payroll reports, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of payroll systems and processes. Qualifications - Clear, effective communication skills and a knack for explaining technical issues to non-technical users. - A proactive mindset and comfort navigating documentation or vendor resources to find answers. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, remote desktop tools, and help desk systems. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - A solutions-focused attitude—always aiming for the long-term fix. - Commitment to consistency and process, especially when it comes to compliance and data integrity. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or payroll analysis. - Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. - Proficiency with UKG payroll systems is a must. Others is a plus (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, Oracle, or similar). - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). - Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
