Support proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing Information System Security policies, standards, and methodologies. Manage operational security posture for an Information System or program to ensure policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Oversee security aspects of the Information System and perform daily security operations. Assist ISSEs and ISSOs in evaluating security solutions to meet security requirements for processing classified information. Conduct vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support security authorization. Support configuration management (CM) for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage changes and assess their security impact. Prepare documentation such as SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs. Support security authorization activities in compliance with DoD RMF and DIACAP processes.The Level 3 Information System Security Manager shall possess the following capabilities:Requirements gathering and analysisFunctional analysis and task interrelationship mappingSecurity infrastructure analysis and future program planningCollaboration with engineers on systems integrationPlanning and coordinating IT security programs and policiesUser needs analysis for functional requirementsTechnical information gathering on security products and programsFunctional allocation and resource identificationRisk analysis and assessmentSupporting government planning and oversight of security servicesDesign and implementation of future IT systems and securityAssisting Program Managers with oversightFacilitating issue resolution via product teams and TEMsProviding daily oversight to contractor ISSOsOverseeing engineering solutions for security requirementsInteracting with customers and high-level officers to define cybersecurity objectivesServing as the Program's ISSMSupporting development and implementation of DoD security servicesCollaborating on systems integration and lifecycle requirementsAdvising Program Managers on oversight mattersQualifications:10+ years in security authorization, familiar with security tools, HW/SW security, protocols, encryptionKnowledge of commercial security products, incident management, PKI, and authorization servicesBachelor's degree in relevant fields or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degreeCertifications Required:DoD 8570 compliance with IAM IIPosition requires active Security Clearance with appropriate PolygraphPay Range: 160,000-200,000The RealmOne pay range is a guideline and not a guarantee.
