Position Summary: Work as liaison between vendors and organization; provide specialized consultative services, and implement, drive, and maintain vendor programs, marketing, and training; review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts; communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters; build and maintain positive relationships with vendors; monitor vendor performance; research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies. Position may or may not be on a sales commission plan. What you bring to the role: Seasoned professional individual contributor. Works independently with limited supervision. May manage projects/processes. Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals. Handles difficult and complex problems. Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures. Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters. Champions significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity. May assist junior staff members. Provides leadership for the work group through expertise in his/her area of specialization. Determines work priorities based on general direction from managers. Specialist in technical or business skills. Focused on customer relations with the ability to cultivate lasting relationships. Holds a four-year college degree or relevant experience.
