We go forward boldly. Position Overview: As a Centralized Service Associate Engineer , you will be responsible for hardware and software design activities for building automation systems. You will apply engineering principles to work on assigned projects, designing cost-effective control solutions to meet project requirements. Work Location: This role offers a hybrid schedule (3+ days onsite) based in Colombia/Bogota . Key Responsibilities: - Familiarize with Trane Commercial Chillers, Rooftops, and Air Handlers. - Design control box layouts, wire harness routing, and perform transformer load calculations. - Develop laboratory test plans and analyze data. - Lead and guide designers, lab technicians, and team members. - Manage agency and regulatory approval processes. - Update electrical drawings and standards. - Identify and complete qualification testing activities. - Prepare schedules and reports, achieving project milestones. - Coordinate with other engineers and technicians. - Support Product Planning and Technical Support Teams. - Assist Order Fulfillment teams with safety, assembly, and quality issues. - Identify electrical quality and productivity improvements. - Execute electrical, quality, and productivity projects. Qualifications: - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering drawing tools. - Knowledge of new construction and retrofit concepts. - Advanced or fluent English; ability to interpret plans, specifications, and control drawings; excellent report writing and communication skills.
