We are actively looking for a Software Engineer to join our Valencia or Algeciras office. As part of the Software Group, the Software Java Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable solutions to integrate third-party systems from customers into our cloud platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other developers and occasionally work with the data team to ensure seamless data flow and integration. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in logistics and port operations, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance platform capabilities and improve efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities: Create robust and scalable integration solutions to connect third-party systems with our cloud platform Work closely with other software developers, product managers, and the data team to understand integration requirements Handle data mapping and transformation between different systems to ensure compatibility Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure reliability and performance Debug and troubleshoot integration issues, providing timely resolutions Ensure that integration solutions are well-documented for internal use and client reference Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a software developer Wide mental outlook and analytical thinking Java knowledge and skills Understanding of Microservices architecture Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with external partners Fluency in English, both spoken and written Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing changing priorities and new technologies Empathy and understanding of customers' needs to develop solutions that provide value and improve user experience Software Java Spring boot, microservices, Kafka, No-SQL (MongoDB), No-SQL (REDIS), RESTful APIs, Docker, JSON / XML, Git Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171 Working Conditions: Sedentary for prolonged periods of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
