Business Operations and Human Resources Manager @ TESYS NETWORKS | BBA General Description: The NOC Tier 1 Engineer is responsible for resolving incidents escalated and providing constant updates to the customer. Primary Job Functions: Detect alarms/events on monitoring tools. Open incidents in ticketing systems and report within SLAs. Communicate effectively with customers via calls, emails, chats for status updates. Resolve incidents escalated from NOC or customers. Have knowledge in troubleshooting Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wireless, VPN, NAT, and policies. Provide troubleshooting and support via phone, web, and email. Collaborate with service providers, vendors, and customers to resolve issues. Investigate network outages and prepare RFO reports. Escalate issues requiring additional configuration with clear validation details. Act as liaison during escalations between customers and Tier 2 support. Follow up with customers on incident status based on priority. Administer network equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Perform activations for new and existing customers. Automate network monitoring for proactive issue mitigation. Update client information files and topology documents. Review vendor release notes for device/firmware EoL/EoS and notify accordingly. Execute Patch Management and Change Management processes. Update Monitoring tools according to inventory. Review SSL certificates and notify nearing expiration. Required Skills: Strong English communication skills (B2+ level). Networking and analytical skills, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, packet analysis. Experience as Network Engineer, Support, or Escalation Engineer with WAN, SD-WAN, Security features. Strong problem-solving skills. Education: Engineering degree in Networking, Telecommunication, Telematic, Electrical, Electronic, or related fields. Certification Required: CCNA or similar networking certification. Preferred Certifications: CCNP, Fortinet NSE 4+, other vendor security certifications. Shift rotation 24x7, participation in on-call rotations. Paid vacation/PTO and holidays.
