Job Title: .Net Programmer (Child Support) As a highly motivated and skilled .Net programmer, you will lead the development and maintenance of enterprise-scale web applications on the Microsoft .NET platform for the integrated Child Support Enforcement applications under the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and support complex software systems using Microsoft .NET architecture. - Develop data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture. - Build and deploy web-based software systems, utilizing N-tier architectures, dynamic content, highly-scalable approaches, and complex security models/implementations. - Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement multiple software components and subsystems. - Communicate effectively with technical, non-technical staff, and customers/stakeholders. Requirements: - 7 years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems and components using Microsoft .NET architecture. - 5+ years experience developing data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture. - Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and at least two application, database, messaging, or web server systems. - Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Agile software development. - Experience with performance, security, and regression testing tools.
