About the RoleAs an intern on our Talent Acquisition Team at Sezzle, you will get an introduction to multiple areas of Human Resources with a focus on recruiting-related projects and tasks while experiencing the fast pace of a small, high-growth tech startup. The right candidate will be able to help us develop our recruiting best practices and ensure every candidate has a world-class candidate experience. The goal of this internship is for you to gain valuable knowledge and be able to showcase your skillset in leadership, recruiting, and organizational development. Only one in three millennials own a credit card, and the vast majority of millennials possess a subprime credit score or no score at all. To address these problems, Sezzle has built a payment platform that increases purchasing power for consumers by offering interest-free installment plans at online stores. This increase in purchasing power for consumers leads to increased sales and basket sizes for the hundreds of eCommerce merchants that currently work with Sezzle. Responsibilities: - Managing and updating Applicant Tracking System - Scheduling and performing phone screens - Assist in building an event calendar such as career fairs, campus onsite visits, and networking meetups - Assist with candidate pipeline reporting and analysis Ideal Skills & Experience: - Background and/or education in HR, People Operations, Recruiting, and/or Organizational Development - Located in Minneapolis, MN - Interest in startups - Hard-working, determined, ambitious, self-motivated, and a can-do attitude About You: - A+ character.
