About This Role The Head of Compliance will lead all regulatory, legal, and risk-related aspects of operations globally. Serving as a critical advisor to the leadership team, this role requires strategic vision and hands-on expertise in building scalable systems to support growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a global compliance framework tailored to a content-forward CRM platform with embedded Fintech functionalities. Owning the platform's Acceptable Use Policy, content standards, and internal enforcement protocols. Partnering closely with trust & safety, legal, product, engineering, and customer experience teams to operationalize compliance across the entire user and creator journey. Monitoring and interpreting emerging platforms, digital services regulations, and adapting company policies accordingly. Leading structured enforcement workflows. Serving as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries, audits, or issues with stakeholders, regulators, or external counsel. Driving regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure proactive preparedness. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in compliance, platform governance, risk management, or trust & safety roles—preferably at a social platform media platform, fintech, or creator monetization startup. A strong understanding of platform policy, content moderation, creator behavior, and digital product risk areas. The ability to build from scratch: comfortable designing systems, policies, and workflows with limited legacy infrastructure. Excellent communication and judgment, advising executive teams on complex matters. A creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments. A willingness to get hands dirty—comfortable rolling up sleeves and diving deep into operational challenges.
