As we expand our reach, we’re looking to grow our team with a part-time SEO Specialist who’s passionate about driving organic growth and making healthcare more accessible. We’re growing fast and need an SEO Specialist who can help us stand out in both traditional and AI-powered search—so more people can discover and access the care they deserve. The Role We’re looking for a data-driven, hands-on SEO Specialist to lead and execute our organic growth strategy. This is a part-time contractor role (~10–15 hours/week) with potential for growth. You’ll own the entire SEO pipeline—from roadmap and content optimization to technical audits and AI-powered search experiments. What You’ll Do 1. Search & Content Strategy Build and own a 12-month SEO roadmap targeting high-intent keywords and emerging AI search platforms (SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini). Prioritize content that aligns with Tuyo’s key service lines and drives conversions (not just clicks). Define and track KPIs tied to patient acquisition and CAC payback. 2. AI-Augmented Content Engine Build or manage an AI-enabled content pipeline (AirOps, GrowthBar, LangChain, etc.) to generate E-E-A-T-compliant content at scale. Coordinate with clinical reviewers to ensure medical accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and consistent tone. Publish, measure, and iterate based on organic and SGE performance. 3. Technical SEO Ownership Manage Core Web Vitals, crawl budget, schema implementation (MedicalEntity, FAQ, etc.), robots directives, and canonical tags. Optimize for structured answers, featured snippets, and citation-friendly TL;DRs for LLMs. Work with Engineering team to implement technical requirements needed to succeed in your role 4. Analytics, Experimentation & Reporting Set up SEO dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, PostHog) to track full-funnel performance: visits → eligibility → appointments → LTV. Design and run SEO experiments by geography, diagnosis, or template type. Report weekly wins, insights, and priorities. We value transparency and iteration. 5. Enablement & Documentation Create SOPs and workflows for asynchronous execution by other teams. Run short training sessions to align content and growth teams on AI-search trends and SEO best practices. You’ll Nail This Role If You… Have 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience. Know how to rank in both classic search and AI-powered platforms. Are fluent in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Search Console). Can balance strategy with execution—content, code, data, and experiments. Are highly autonomous, metric-driven, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup. Bonus: Experience with medical content, HIPAA/PHI, telehealth, or insurance is a plus.
