Qualifications - Diploma / Bachelor's degree in HR or any relevant major. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Payroll & Recruitment. - Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures. - Good knowledge of local labor laws and relevant legislation. - Strong interpersonal communication skills; a compelling, clear communicator able to engage the attention of candidates for our positions. - High tolerance to stress and ability to work under pressure, personal time management. - Full understanding of HR functions and best practices. - Knowledge of employment legislation. - Driver's license. Responsibilities - Contribute to the writing of policies and procedures in the organization, by writing new policies and procedures, and adapting old policies and procedures when such a need arises, after having received the authorization of the Human Resources Manager, and by reporting needs with regards to policy and procedure changes to Human Resources Managers on an ad hoc basis. - Monitor relevant legislation and ensure that the PTNW's HR practices meet requirements. - Keep up to date and stay abreast of labor legislation and procedures with regards to all HR practices, by attending and participating in training, and by subscribing to and reading the appropriate publications. - Advise the department on the latest HR legislation. - Main relevant human resources records, information, and databases and assist with preparation of HR metric data reports as required to ensure accuracy and availability of information where required. - Assist in the regular review, development, and implementation of organizational directives, work instructions, and HR-related systems and documentation with an aim to maintain compliance and achieve industry best practice where possible. - Ensure that confidentiality with respect to all HR processes and information is maintained at all times. - Source and screen qualified candidates globally to close available vacancies in a timely manner using various recruitment sources. - Advertise job vacancies for new vacancies and replacements on various job portals and social media platforms, and ensure that the JDs are correctly loaded on ATS as this links to the careers page on our website. - Interview and assess internal and external applicants based on assigned job description and positions' requirement. - Complete reference checks and due diligence checks for successful candidates. - Complete the onboarding process and update systems and maintain complete records in a timely manner. - Handle rejoined and rehired employees cases. - Ensure that full vetting process has been followed upon recruitment of new incumbent. - Process all new starter documents and onboarding pack as per HR Guidelines and policy. - Provide advice on benefits offered by the Company and ensure that benefits are linked by Payroll. - Engage on HR system and any other legislative systems/portals. - Ensure that a resignation letter or dismissal letter is received. - Exit Interviews are to be conducted for resignations. - Complete benefit withdrawals (pension fund, Certificate of service….etc) and process Medical Aid cancellation. - Terminate on required legislative systems/portals. - Submit monthly payroll related Input to Payroll. - Responsible for HR related Policies and procedures and the adherence thereof. - Check regional salary earning analyses to ensure that it is correct. - Ensure that Payroll Approval reaches Payroll as per set deadlines. - Process Pay Queries. - Oversee payslip distribution. - Oversee personnel file administration and ensure all documents are on file — electronically and hard copy. - Process leave, disciplinary outcomes and beneficiary details on the HR system. - Submit Benefit Application forms to relevant Benefits. - Administer Surveys, projects, employee engagements. - Manage HR and Office expenses, track invoices and follow up on payments. - Any other duties as directed by the Manager Human Resources and/or line management within known skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
