Job Description: * DUTIES AND **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Provides infrastructure projects design support for deployments, facilities maintenance, and performs quality assurance evaluation of infrastructure work performed by INL Programs and contractors. Performs other duties as assigned. - Serves as Government Technical Monitor for infrastructure/minor construction projects. - Provides site activation support at locations throughout Colombia. - Participates in sight activation meetings and pre-deployment site visits. - Provides site activation design support as required. - Supervises the work of INL Programs’ personnel supporting infrastructure projects. **Job Requirements**: **MINIMUM **QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION**: The person filling this position must have at least two years of college from an accredited U.S. or Colombian institution. **LANGUAGE **LEVEL**: - Spanish level IV: Fluent - English level II: Limited knowledge of written and spoken English **EXPERIENCE**: - Must have at least five years of experience in infrastructure/construction field work. **KNOWLEDGE** OF: * - Working at heights as defined by Colombian law. - Colombian government and industry environmental standards. - Colombian government and industry safety standards, regulations, and guidelines of the trade. **SKILLS **IN**: - The care and use of office equipment utilized in carrying out assigned duties. - Prioritizing and working effectively in multiple tasks and projects in a high-stress environment - Must be able to use Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD (extensive experience is required), and Microsoft Project (is desired). **ABILITY **TO**: - Understand and follow oral and written instructions in the English and Spanish languages. - Present formal written and oral briefings in the English and Spanish languages. - Read and understand technical schematics. - Work cooperatively with other US Government and Colombian military and National Police counterparts - Productively supervise a diverse variety of people working under harsh field conditions. - Must have the ability to harmoniously coordinate work activities with team leaders and other coworkers. **TRAINING**: - Incumbent should have previous training on basic duties, such as construction design, projects and architectural research, as well as a basic technical understanding of structures and construction. - Must have training for the identification and drafting of technical details and specifications such as materials, dimensions and procedures. - Must be trained to use calculators, tables and technical handbooks.
