This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Devsu. We are currently looking for a .NET Umbraco Developer in Latin America. As a Senior .NET Umbraco Developer, you will lead the upgrade and optimization of a large-scale CMS platform, taking full technical ownership from planning to post-deployment. You will work with modern .NET/C# technologies and Umbraco CMS (v8+) to refactor templates, enhance system performance, and ensure seamless functionality across integrations. This fully remote role offers the chance to contribute to critical software used by major clients in the U.S., while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Accountabilities: - Assess the current Umbraco CMS infrastructure and design a comprehensive migration strategy. - Lead the upgrade process from Umbraco v8+ to the latest stable version, ensuring compatibility and stability. - Refactor or rebuild Razor views, templates, and custom components using .NET/C#. - Maintain and test integration points such as APIs, databases, and external services to ensure continued functionality. - Apply security standards and performance optimization techniques to enhance CMS reliability. - Work closely with design, product, and QA teams to align technical solutions with business goals. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues while maintaining clear documentation and best practices. Requirements - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS (version 8 or above). - Proficiency in .NET/C#, Razor views, HTML, CSS, and Java Script. - Solid understanding of MVC architecture and component-based design. - Experience with SQL Server and relational database structures. - Comfortable working with Git and modern version control workflows. - Self-driven with a proven ability to plan, manage, and deliver technical projects independently. - Nice to have: - Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to headless CMS or hybrid content delivery architectures. - Awareness of SEO and CMS performance optimization best practices. - Experience using monitoring/debugging tools for large-scale CMS systems.
