Job Summary This is a mid-level role within our Global Technology Sourcing organization. The responsibilities range from building relationships with Technology executives to leading sourcing business partners to deliver savings while balancing risks and regulatory issues. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Technology Infrastructure Systems Sourcing Strategy and key stakeholders, within our IT department. - Buil long-lasting relationships with business partners to drive Sourcing engagements and increase influence/role of Sourcing within various business teams. - Regularly update senior executives on deal status, category reporting, etc. - Take a global view to ensure that we leverage our scale domestically and internationally. Category Expertise: - Collaborate with Category teams and our Technology department to establish the Supplier / Product Strategy for Infrastructure Systems Software as a category of spend. - Understand our Technology footprint, long and short-term strategies, and suppliers within that landscape. - Oversee aligned categories. Understand supplier impacts and communicate effectively to Sourcing executives and Technology stakeholders to inform risk/reward decision-making. - Perform market analysis to support recommendations to the Technology teams. - Drive a sustainable pipeline of activity and proactively engage Technology Business Partners to ensure proper runway. - Maintain an understanding of the regulatory market as it impacts our Technology's Infrastructure Software strategy and market approach. Sourcing Capabilities - Commercial & Contract Negotiations: - Manage escalations. Support the Sourcing and Technology teams to negotiate and drive best-in-class deals. - Drive multi-vendor strategies to optimize our leverage and reduce operational risk. - Perform savings tracking and report realized savings on a continual basis. - Negotiate contract terms and conditions in partnership with our Legal team. Requirements: - 4+ years of experience as a sourcing and/or procurement professional, preferably with a focus on Technology and Software supplier relationships. - Demonstrated understanding of software licensing and ability to converse with IT and Procurement executives on supplier strategy, sales models, market levers, and financial modeling. - Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations. - Demonstrated technology and software negotiation experience. - Experience supporting technology stakeholders with passion to deliver customer service and forge lasting relationships. - High level of self-motivation and initiative, and ability to operate as a team player.
