As a Senior Project Manager in ICON’s Language Services department, you will lead complex translation and localization projects for pharmaceutical and clinical clients, ensuring seamless execution, high quality, and regulatory compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will manage client relationships, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in mentoring others, solving complex challenges, and contributing to strategic initiatives that support the growth and integration of ICON’s Language Services. What You Will Be Doing: - Recognizing, exemplifying, and adhering to ICON's values centered around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance. - Contributing to our culture of process improvement by streamlining processes, adding value, and meeting client needs. - Keeping abreast of pharma/biotech/medical device trends and evolving client expectations. - Managing complex, high-value translation and localization projects from start to finish. - Serving as the primary client partner, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and providing strategic guidance. - Advising clients and internal teams as a subject matter expert in Life Sciences translation and localization. - Taking full accountability for project quality, timelines, financial performance, and client satisfaction. - Monitoring risks and developing mitigation plans for successful project delivery. - Identifying workflow inefficiencies and leading initiatives to streamline, automate, and scale processes. - Leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure aligned service delivery and continuous improvement. - Guiding clients on best practices, regulatory considerations, and tailored solutions based on project complexity. - Ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and regulations. - Driving quality investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation. - Contributing to the development of new service offerings and operational innovations. - Supporting budgeting, quoting, and pricing strategies for profitability and client satisfaction. - Presenting project insights and process improvements to senior stakeholders. - Promoting a culture of excellence and process improvement within project management. - Mentoring and training junior and mid-level staff for professional growth. - Expanding industry knowledge on trends, client needs, and service models. - Supporting leadership with resource planning and departmental performance evaluation. Your Profile: - 5+ years of project management experience in translation, localization, or language services. - Expertise in Life Sciences translation projects (pharmaceutical, medical device, clinical, biotech). - Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. - Proficiency with CAT tools, translation management systems, and project tracking software. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other document formats (e.g., PDFs, XML, PowerPoint). #LI-FB2 #LI-Remote What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
