About the role - As a Reconciliation Leader, you will be responsible for managing settlement and daily reconciliations, this person will work with the team to ensure integrity of the data of PayU platform, payment methods and bank statements. What you'll do - Lead and oversee transactional reconciliation processes across LATAM, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up. - Perform detailed analysis and control of bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, chargeback reports, and associated costs in the LATAM region. - Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including regulatory audits and other compliance-related requests. - Manage and optimize reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights. - Supervise month-end closing activities (D-1 , D+1 and D+2), ensuring timely review and issue resolution. - Handle and follow up on support tickets, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met. - Take ownership of the Slack incident resolution channel, ensuring quick triage and resolution of issues. - Provide team leadership and guidance, promoting collaboration, accountability, and high performance. - Monitor and improve KPIs, identifying root causes of issues and implementing effective action plans. - Proactively detect and report reconciliation irregularities, ensuring issues are escalated and addressed promptly. What you need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Accountant, Business Administrator, Financial and related. - More than 3-year experience in similar activities and responsibilities (Accounting, and reconciliation) - Fluent English, speaking and writing.
