Role Overview Consultant, Advisors Client Services, Data & Services Mastercard Data & Services provides cutting-edge data analysis and services to Fortune 500s, governments, and nonprofits to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth. Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets and in-house technologies to deliver powerful insights and recommendations. We serve a diverse global customer base across industries such as banking, payments, retail, and finance. The Advisors Client Services group includes five specializations: Performance Analytics, Strategy & Transformation, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Project Management. Our Performance Analytics consultants utilize AI, Machine Learning, and BI platforms to develop insights and products using Mastercard, customer, and third-party data. They apply qualitative and quantitative techniques on enterprise applications like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, Python, Impala, among others, to deliver impactful solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Client Impact - Manage deliverables and workstreams across various industries and problem statements. - Develop analytics strategies and programs for large, regional, and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock value. - Maintain trusted relationships with client managers and act as a reliable partner. Team Collaboration & Culture - Develop business recommendations and deliver client presentations effectively. - Plan, organize, and structure work for yourself and junior consultants to address client problems and synthesize findings. - Lead team meetings and project management efforts. - Contribute to intellectual capital and solution development. - Mentor junior consultants and take ownership of project management tasks. Qualifications Basic qualifications - Undergraduate degree with experience in data and analytics, BI, or related projects. - Experience managing clients or stakeholders. - Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize findings for recommendations. - Experience with data analytics software (Python, R, SQL, SAS). - Experience building and managing databases. - Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Effective communication in English and local language. - Legal eligibility to work and travel as required. Preferred qualifications - Experience managing tasks or workstreams collaboratively. - Experience coaching junior team members. - Additional experience with Hadoop, Impala, Hive, PySpark, Tableau, Power BI. - Relevant industry expertise. - MBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization (preferred but not required).
