Your Responsibilities Will Include: Lead and support the planning, design, and execution of CCUS projects, including CO₂ capture, transport, utilization, and storage. Conduct technical reviews of existing systems to identify optimization opportunities and implement continuous improvements. Collaborate with operations teams to deliver tailored engineering solutions that meet performance and sustainability goals. Guide the development of internal CCUS standards, practices, and design guidelines. Perform simulations using process modeling tools such as HYSYS , assessing feasibility and performance of CCUS applications. Deliver technical presentations to global expert audiences and publish peer-reviewed papers. Mentor junior engineers and deliver internal training to build organizational capability. Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders, offering real-time support and insights. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred). 20+ years of experience in the CCS value chain, with hands-on involvement in CO₂ storage projects. Deep understanding of capture technologies (chemical absorption, physical separation), CO₂ transport, and storage in saline formations or depleted reservoirs. Proven knowledge of CCUS economics , cost components across the value chain, and policy frameworks (e.g. carbon tax, cap-and-trade, carbon pricing). Experience working with international CCS projects and familiarity with applicable regulatory landscapes.
